"I have been teaching art as a means towards personal growth and development for my entire teaching career. Now that I am working out of my own studio and living in such a beautiful NW island setting, I find myself working here within the perfect locale for inspiration and natural beauty. The body of art work shown here is a series of pieces which I have been creating in a variety of mediums--from pastel, to watercolor, to acrylic paintingÑall of which explore the heritage, the seasons, and the natural beauty of our unique islands".
